    Founder & CEO

    Steve Lazarus is an experienced, commercially focused and well-connected business professional and is an expert in striking deals with over 25 years of deal negotiation experience.

    After qualifying as a Solicitor in 1993, Steve went on to hold senior commercial roles at Warner Music, ITV, Celador International (a Sony Pictures company), Myspace, Yahoo and Dow Jones (a News Corp company).

    Aside from many years of business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development and M&A experience gained at major multinational companies, at Lazarus Consulting Steve has successfully secured a number of high value transactions for clients.

    Via his industry roles, Steve has grown an extensive network of industry contacts and gained considerable transactional and digital experience.

  • Alexander Klos

    Alexander Klos is an experienced Finance Director and has held leadership roles in various companies in the music, digital media and software industry, both in start-ups and corporate organizations.

    Located in Berlin, Germany he has also worked internationally for US, Canadian, UK, Danish and Swiss companies. Holding a Master in European Business Law he has a broad legal understanding and a strong accounting and tax background. He has helped build and scale up companies like 24-7 Entertainment (sold to 7digital), SoundCloud, Veer (sold to Corbis), has worked with well-known artist like Daniel Barenboim, Robbie Williams and Linkin Park and has held positions at Gracenote, Universal Music and Infineon Technologies.

    He has built a number of robust financial models for Lazarus Consulting clients to support their funding rounds. He knows how to present financial information to investors in a meaningful way based on his 30 years of experience building businesses for shareholders.

    Rebekah Clark is a media and communications executive with an international career spanning over 18 years with deep and extensive film industry experience. She has delivered campaigns and content for clients across Europe, the US and the Middle East.

    Rebekah is the founder of Beautiful Soup, a consultancy with the aim of creating, developing, and supporting visual storytelling that inspires and engages audiences.

    Partners and clients span film & entertainment, public and private sector, governments and NGOs.

    Amy is an experienced and tenacious sales professional who’s held senior sales and business development roles both in the UK, EU and USA.

    Most recently Amy was Business Development Director at The Red Flag Group which is a tech-driven professional services firm. Prior to that she was EMEA Business Development Director at UL EduNeering. Her other senior roles include Trucost PLC and Percussion Software where she was EMEA Sales Director.

    Robert has had a twenty seven year career as a fund manager before leaving to become joint founder of the specialist smaller companies investment boutique, Bluehone Investors LLP, in 2005.

    Robert has considerable experience of investing in smaller companies, both public and private, having invested in over 250 companies during his time as a fund manager. He helped launch and run The AiM Trust PLC as well as two AiM VCTs and other SME investment funds.

    More recently as a C Level Executive, Non Executive Director and Adviser to number of prominent international brands, businesses and private equity groups.

    Simon has held leadership roles in companies and founded B2B businesses with a focus on broadcast, digital media, software and adtech. He is passionate about helping start-ups scale up.

    He now consults to various tech and gaming clients and is currently a mentor at Startupbootcamp Amsterdam, has co-founded an intelligent call management solutions provider, is an advisor to a digital media agency dedicated to games that he also co-founded and is a board member to the Dutch Games Association. Simon’s prior roles include stints at Spil Games and 2waytraffic.

Working across multiple industries including education, publishing and music, he has held VP sales and marketing roles at Pearson, Random House, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Warner Music and served on a number of company and industry Boards.

    Jeremy now provides global management services and holds Non-Executive and Chairman roles to a range of businesses both within and outside the entertainment industry.

  • Jack Chiappe

    Jack has spent several years working as a corporate finance analyst, conducting sell and buy-side M&A research on companies with Enterprise Values of between £1m and £100m. He has since screened and analysed thousands of businesses across a number of sectors. He has a keen interest in entrepreneurship and loves working with founders. He obtained a degree in PPE with an Economics major at the University of Birmingham where he was also part of the UoB Boat Club First VIII.
